Catholic Charities and the Annual Interfaith Health and Wellness Awards
On Tuesday I received a very special honor in recognition of my volunteer work, the Mother Theresa Award. It was particularly meaningful to me that it was during National Nurses Week as two of my sisters are nurses.

I’ve always volunteered to do whatever I could, wherever the need was greatest. One of the joys of being part of St. Edward Guild is the strong commitment to a number of wonderful organizations serving people in our diocese. I’m very grateful to work with the women of our Guild.

It was wonderful to be surrounded by dear friends and especially my lovely daughter-in-law, Emerson.
